Established in 1822, the Bolloré Group is one of the 500 largest companies in the world. Listed on the Paris Stock Exchange,the majority interest of the Goup's stock is still controlled by the Bolloré family. This stable majority control of its capital allows the Group to develop a long-term investment policy. Thanks to a diversification strategy based on innovation and international development, it now holds strong positionin all its activities around three business lines: trtansport and logistics, communication and electricity storage solutions. Its 79,000 employees in 130 countries, enabled the Bolloré Group to achieve more than 24 billion euros turnover in 2020.
In addition to its transport and logistics businesses, the Bolloré Group has a significant presence in the field of media and communication. Its Communications divison includes Vivendi of which it holds 25% of the share capital. The Groupe is also present in free press (Cnews), digital media and in the telecomunication field with 4G licenses and the Internet access provider, Wifirst.
At the same time, the Group made electricity storage a major priority for development. It has developed a unique technology in the form of Lithium Metal Polymer (LMP®) batteries, produced by its Blue Solutions subsidiary. Using this technology, the Group has diversified into mobile applications (car-sharing systems, electric cars, buses) and stationary applications, as well as systems for managing these applications (IER, Polyconseil).
