Bolloré Logistics decarbonises its road solutions with its new biofuel truck
On 1 April 2022, Bolloré Logistics put into operation a new shuttle that uses B100 biofuel. This end-to-end solution, designed for all pre and post air shipments, functions 6 days a week ensuring a rotation between the Bolloré Logistics sites in Lyon and Roissy CDG. It is a part of Bolloré Logistics desire to decarbonise the solutions it proposes to its clients, whether by road, sea or air.

Timor Port protects mangroves in Tibar Bay

Congo Terminal introduces two new RTG cranes
On 20 April 2022, Congo Terminal, a subsidiary of Bolloré Ports, introduced two new RTG cranes worth €3.8 million (2.5 million CFA francs). The equipment was delivered in March and the company has been able to grow its fleet and currently has 20 RTG cranes.

Côte d'Ivoire Terminal takes delivery of six feet gantries
On 23 April 2022, Côte d’Ivoire Terminal took delivery of six fleet gantries for the second container terminal currently under construction at the Port of Abidjan. Transported on a semi-submersible vessel specially designed to carry gantries, this delivery is part of an overall order of 13 fleet gantries.

Bolloré Transport & Logistics Côte d'Ivoire to open a new 9,000 M² logistics base
In September 2022, Bolloré Transport & Logistics Cote d’Ivoire will inaugurate a modern logistics base with a total area of 9,000 m2, in the airport area of Abidjan. Designed to strengthen its offer of services linked to the import and export of goods by air, this new infrastructure will have required 18 months of work and an investment of 3.4 billion CFA francs.

Kribi Conteneurs Terminal Awarded Green Terminal Label
Kribi Conteneurs Terminal, operator of the container terminal of the Autonomous Port of Kribi, has been granted the Green Terminal label following the audit conducted between 17 and 18 March 2022 by Bureau Veritas. This label rewards the efforts made by the company to reduce the impact of its activities on the environment by implementing eco-responsible measures.

Bolloré Logistics announces the appointment of Nathalie Leger as Global VP of the Luxury, Perfumes and Cosmetics vertical at Bolloré Logistics. In her new role, Nathalie joins the Executive Committee of Bolloré Logistics and will be now responsible for leading Bolloré Logistics’ global development and business strategy in the luxury, perfumes and cosmetics verticals.

Bolloré Transport & Logistics Bénin transports six electrical transformers under the Compact II programme
From 26 February to 30 March 2022, Bolloré Transport & Logistics Benin teams transported six electrical transformers weighing a total of 464 tonnes to equip numerous thermal power stations in Benin. This operation was carried out on behalf of GE/GRID Solution, a local subsidiary of General Electric, under the Compact II programme represented by the Millennium Challenge Account (MCA).

Congo Terminal boosts its equipment fleet with 20 new port machinery items
Congo Terminal, a subsidiary of Bolloré Ports, has recently commissioned 10 tractors and 10 trailers worth more than 779 million CFA francs (over €1 million). This is the fourth order for rolling stock since the concession began in 2009.

Bolloré Logistics Malawi succesfully completes logistics for the Golomoti Solar Project
From March to December 2021, Bolloré Logistics Malawi implemented the transportation for the Golomoti Solar project, by conveying an all-inclusive shipment of 221 TEUS of solar panels, batteries and equipment from China to Malawi. Relying on its expertise in this field, Bolloré Logistics was able to be part of a historic project, in producing the first solar utility-scale grid-connected battery energy storage system in East Africa.
