Côte d'Ivoire is the world's largest producer of cocoa with around 2 million tons per year, and produces around 40% of the global output. Cocoa accounts for 50% of export earnings and 2/3 of direct and indirect jobs in the country.

Bolloré Transport & Logistics is involved in the country's logistics transformation process and wants to provide answers to the issues of the agricultural sector. In addition to the new warehouse, a state-of-the-art bulk cocoa packing station and 2 additional weighbridges have been installed to improve the quality of service.

These new equipment will generate significant productivity gains by improving the rates on this cocoa loading station, the largest in the world. Our export customers will also benefit from multiple services including transportation, logistics, bean export process management, and collateral management. In addition, the dedicated teams are regularly trained to handle the large tonnages in a very tight deadline, and thus meet the growing requirements of this sector.

Bolloré Transport & Logistics provides Côte d’Ivoire with infrastructure that meets the country's growth ambitions. With this new 10,000 m2 warehouse, Bolloré Transport & Logistics has now 400,000 m² of storage space in Abidjan and San Pedro.
