Bolloré Transport & Logistics is attending the 27th Summit Africa-France held in Bamako

As a key player in the economic and social development of Africa, Bolloré Transport & Logistics participates in the Summit Africa-France which opens today in Bamako. For two days, 300 French and African business leaders, as well as many heads of state, will have the opportunity to meet in the Malian capital.

Philippe Labonne, Deputy Managing Director of Bolloré Transport & Logistics and Fabricio Protti, Managing Director of Bolloré Energy are attending this summit. Philippe Labonne will speak at the plenary session devoted to new solutions for financing projects in Africa. He will explain the benefits of public-private partnerships that “provide countries with modern infrastructure that supports the economic development of countries, and contributes to creating jobs".

 

Mr Protti will speak at the round table dedicated to energy. Particular emphasis will be placed on a key element in the African development. "Renewable energies feature among the key factors of sustainable development. Nevertheless, electricity storage systems need to be systematically integrated in the overall approach".
