BtELLES: Bolloré Transport & Logistics is committed to increase the number of women in its businesses and to promote women's leadership

On the occasion of the International Women’s Day 2020, the employees of Bolloré Transport & Logistics organized several solidarity actions in our subsidiaries.

Bolloré Transport & Logistics' diversity and inclusion charter, signed in 2018, is a major corporate commitment to support women through their career and ease access to positions of responsibility. This attention to increase the number of women in our business and the promotion of women's leadership was celebrated on International Women's Day.   

In Côte d’Ivoire, Asta Rosa Cissé, Managing Director of Abidjan Terminal, shared her experience as a manager with female journalists. In Tanzania, Sade Akanni-Shelle, Managing Director of Bolloré Transport & Logistics Tanzania, discussed the subject “Everyone for equality“ with her colleagues. 

En Côte d’Ivoire, Asta Rosa Cissé, Directrice générale d’Abidjan Terminal, a partagé son quotidien de femme Manager, avec les femmes travaillant dans le secteur de la presse.

En Tanzanie, Sade Akanni-Shelle, Directrice générale de Bolloré Transport & Logistics Tanzanie, a échangé avec ses collègues autour du thème : « Tous pour l’égalité ».

Solidarity

The women working for Bolloré Transport & Logistics expressed their generosity in favour of the youth in many ways. 

In Congo, the employees shared their professional experience with 350 high school girls of Pointe-Noire and Brazzavill. Women of Congo Terminal also offered food supplies to a social center in Matawa, Pointe Noire, which takes care of orphans, including young girls. 

In Tchad, the women of the company donated several music instruments to a young blind institute in order to contribute to their self-development. 

In Guinea, the employees of Bolloré Transport & Logistics made a 4700 euros donation to the women’s association of Kaloum for a project of women’s empowerment through saponification (soap making).  

Au Cameroun, les collaboratrices ont entrepris plusieurs actions pour venir en aide aux populations locales.

En Guinée, les collaboratrices de Bolloré Transport & Logistics ont offert 4 700 euros à l’association des femmes de la commune de Kaloum pour la réalisation d’un projet d’autonomisation des femmes à travers la saponification (fabrication du savon).

The 36,500 employees of Bolloré Transport & Logistics actively contributes to the development of the 107 countries in which the company operates. 

Au Tchad, les collaboratrices de l’entreprise ont fait don de plusieurs instruments de musique à un centre de jeunes aveugles de N’Djamena pour favoriser le développement personnel des jeunes de cette structure. 

A l'occasion de l'événement, les équipes d'EarthTalent sont allés en Inde à la rencontre d'Aasma qui nous en dit plus sur le foyer Jagriti soutenu par le Groupe Bollore.
