The Bolloré Group opens its doors to EDHEC students

Puteaux. 07 February 2023

Last January, the Bolloré Group's Recruitment and HR Development teams welcomed EDHEC Business School students and presented them the Group's business lines.

The Bolloré Group’s Human Resources Department, in partnership with EDHEC Business School since 2015, described to 15 students from different disciplines how the Finance and Purchasing Departments operate and what their roles are, particularly in terms of eco-responsibility. These two departments were represented by employees, some of whom were EDHEC alumni, who came to talk about their own academic and professional paths. The range of possible internships and work-study programmes within the Bolloré Group were presented in this interesting discussion.

The aim of these school/company partnerships is to recruit new talent over a period of time. Students have the opportunity to submit their applications at the end of this open days event. A networking workshop was organised at the end of the day to enable more informal discussions amongst the students and interns and work-study participants currently undergoing an apprenticeship in the Group.

Head of EDHEC Career Centre

The Business Management and Finance Master’s students were delighted with the welcome they received. The business presentations were very informative and varied and provided them with information on a variety of career opportunities. Some of them applied directly to jobs that were presented.

The Campus Management team also attended the EDHEC career fair in Paris the following day, 6 January 2023, to meet other students. The initiative, supported by the Campus Management department, is part of the Group's strategy to continue recruiting young talent.  In September 2022, Bolloré Transport & Logistics was awarded by ChooseMyCompany, the HappyIndex®Trainees label for the third year running. Each year, this label rewards organisations that offer an attractive internship/work-study programme experience.
