Joël Hounsinou has been appointed CEO of Bolloré Transport & Logistics in Côte d’Ivoire, effective from 29 May 2020. Previously he was Deputy CEO of the Côte d’Ivoire subsidiary alongside Pierre Bellerose, Regional CEO for the Côte d’Ivoire - Burkina Faso region.

Bolloré Transport & Logistics introduces rail export solution through Naivasha to curb the spread of covid-19
Bolloré Transport & Logistics has launched on 7 May 2020 a rail service for export cargo from Mombasa to Uganda through the Naivasha ICD in a bid to reduce the spread of Covid-19. The first train loaded with 64 TEUs of cargo consigned to clients of Bolloré Transport & Logistics was received at Naivasha ICD.

Bolloré Logistics beefs up its nordic presence
Bolloré Logistics, ranking among the world’s top 10 in transport and logistics, has taken a significant leap forward in the Nordics with the acquisition of a majority stake in the Swedish company Global Freight Solutions AB and its Finnish affiliate. This now extends the present Bolloré Logistics network to 600 offices in 109 countries with 25,000 employees. This acquisition reinforces the company’s presence in Europe, especially in the Nordic markets. It was a strategic target to complement the regional network having previously established a structure in Norway which was subsequently joined by a similar investment in Denmark.

Covid-19: Groupe ADP, Bolloré Logistics and Qatar Airways Cargo get involved to ease air freight activity and transportation of pharmaceutical products in France
Friday April 10th, Bolloré Logistics received 333 m3 of medical equipment at Paris-Charles de Gaulle Airport coming from China, after a stopover in Doha, Qatar. The company’s chartered plane, a Qatar Airways Cargo Boeing 777 freighter, also had on board products from several industries. This successful operation was made possible thanks to the mobilisation of Groupe ADP, Bolloré Logistics and Qatar Airways Cargo.
