The 10,000 m², temperature-controlled warehouse, operated by Bolloré Logistics under its own name, will receive its first flows of pharmaceutical products in January 2022.

Its location close to airport facilities, freight operators, airlines, customs, and police forces, will help to streamline operations while providing excellent motorway connections. It will consist of two temperature-controlled cells, at +2°/+8°C and +15°/+25°C, reserved for high-value-added storage and logistics operations including the processing of export flows by air.

Two pharmacists affiliated to Bolloré Logistics Solutions will also be present on site, responsible for ensuring that operations are processed in accordance with the public health code and good distribution practices. This new logistics platform will receive the international TAPA FSR B security certification and BREEAM® Very Good certification for its high level of environmental performance as soon as it comes into service.

Brice Bellin

Healthcare & Life Science Director for Europe at Bolloré Logistics

With this new logistics centre, the largest in our pharmaceutical network, Bolloré Logistics demonstrates its ambition to continue investing in Europe with the creation of new platforms built on this model. This infrastructure, which integrates into a secure and innovative environment, will also allow us to support our customers in the expansion of their activity related to the arrival of new products

This project is emblematic of Strasbourg Airport’s strategic plan: to create lasting value for its customers and the region, while accelerating the adaptation of the airport business model to the consequences of the health crisis and the challenges of the future.
