Childhope was selected by the Bolloré Logistics’ entities as a beneficiary to receive the proceeds from Marathon Day, as it promotes and upholds the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child (UN-CRC) with a particular emphasis on street children. Through this donation, the entities aim to support Childhope’s Street Education and Protection (STEP) Program which provides for a street child’s holistic development through education, social welfare, health, and skills development projects.
Bolloré Logistics donates to Childhope Philippines Foundation as part of the Marathon Day

In Philippines, entities of Bolloré Logistics (Bolloré Logistics Philippines, Antrak Philippines Transport Solutions Corporation, BL Asia Support Services) recently donated to Childhope Philippines Foundation, Inc. A short ceremony was held in February 2023 and were present at the event Senior management from the Bolloré Logistics entities in the Philippines, representatives from Childhope and more than 15 children.

We are pleased to support organizations that work to improve the lives of the youth. In 2020, we established a partnership with the Youth Inclusion Network (YIN) and have since expanded our support to include Childhope. We hope that the education provided through Childhope’s program will help the youths in overcoming the poverty cycle and make a lasting impact on their lives. The Bolloré Logistics entities will continue to support similar causes in the Philippines.

The donation was made as part of the initiative from Bolloré Group for the Marathon Day 2022. Marathon Day is a solidarity run that was started in 2016. Every year, Group employees around the world run five kilometers on the same day to raise money for charities in support of youths. In 2022, over 15,000 employees in 94 countries participated in the sixth Marathon Day. The group succeeded in covering 200,000 km.
