Bolloré Logistics joins the French Maritime Cluster
Puteaux.
04 November 2022
Bolloré Logistics, the French leader in international transport and logistics, has joined the French Maritime Cluster (Cluster Maritime Français, CMF), whose mission is to promote the sustainable and responsible development of French maritime economy and its influence, in France and internationally.
By joining the CMF, which brings together all the players in the maritime ecosystem, Bolloré Logistics confirms its desire to contribute to actively boosting the attractiveness and competitiveness of French ports and their hinterland.
Although the CMF’s membership already gathers more than 460 entities, Bolloré Logistics is the first freight forwarding company to join. It does so at a time when the major challenges of the sector are becoming clear, and with them the need to strengthen operational synergies with the other players in the maritime ecosystem. Among the many projects identified, decarbonisation of the supply chain, digitalisation and employment are at the forefront. The entire sector has a shared desire to accelerate the implementation of concrete, collective solutions.
Henri Le Gouis
CEO Europe of Bolloré Logistics
The development of maritime synergies is essential to meet the challenges of today's constantly changing market. We currently transit our customers' shipments through more than 95% of French ports, which is why we want to work closely with the French Maritime Cluster to accentuate France's maritime geographical advantages and best satisfy our customers' international freight transport needs.
The French Maritime Cluster is delighted to have Bolloré Logistics as a member. This new partner will help the CMF to deepen its awareness of the challenges of the logistics sector, an essential link in the flow of goods and central to port activities and maritime transport.
Frédéric Moncany de Saint-Aignan
Chair of the French Maritime Cluster
I welcome the addition of Bolloré Logistics to the French Maritime Cluster, firstly because each new member adds value, but above all because logistics, in view of the environmental and sovereignty challenges that lie ahead, should be even more present in the maritime sector.
