Bolloré Logistics moves into a new site in Lyon Saint-Exupéry to continue its growth in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region

Puteaux. 17 March 2021

On 15 February 2021, 105 employees of Bolloré Logistics Lyon moved into their new site in Lyon-Saint-Exupéry. With a surface area of over 1,400 m2, the new offices benefit from an outstanding location, close to the airport as well as freight companies, airline companies, customs and logistics warehouses, while providing excellent transport connection facilities.

The new building perpetuates Bolloré Logistics’ presence in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region and underscores its determination to support its local customers, including small and mid-sized companies and major groups, in their international expansion.

Géraldine Staron, Regional Director, Rhône-Alpes Est

The new offices are home to the Rhône-Alpes Est Regional Division, our operational agency in Lyon and our French Healthcare Competence Centre. We designed the building to include original working spaces, such as an innovation laboratory, with a view to co-building more sustainable and innovative supply-chain solutions with our customers and partners

Boasting extensive local expertise and supported by a global network, the Lyon agency delivers comprehensive solutions in the management of international goods flows. Operations are managed by employees with strong multi-business and multi-product (air, maritime, road) expertise, covering countries, customs and logistics, and with know-how in each link of the supply chain. Bolloré Logistics has also chosen to base its French Healthcare Competence Centre at the site to bring it closer to the main pharmaceutical industries with substantial presence in the region.

The new property in Lyon ranks as a modern and innovative hub and is also an integral part of Bolloré Logistics’ CSR policy aimed at shrinking the company’s carbon footprint while fostering employee well-being.

Sarah Chanel, Director of the Lyon-Saint-Exupéry office

The layout of the new offices was designed to favour the well-being of our employees, facilitate communication between our departments and strengthen our partnership with our customers and suppliers, with open spaces, special work rooms, confidentiality areas and video conference equipment. Our teams contributed to the development of the project right from the start through workshops on the layout, the code of conduct and biodiversity. All the employees are proud to have contributed to the participative project
