Bolloré Logistics takes part in a conference on the Seine valley region

Paris. 06 February 2019

On 7 February 2019, Bolloré Logistics is taking part in a conference on the Seine Valley region: Journée Vallée de la Seine – Regards croisés Île-de-France Normandie. The company will be providing expertise and expressing its views as part of a round table on the development of this region as France’s largest logistics system*.

Bolloré Transport & Logistics has strong presence in Normandy and is seeking to develop the logistics offering around the Seine corridor. To this end, it will place the emphasis on modal transfer, the transfer of containers by river and the development of logistics platforms along the Seine.

In 2018, Bolloré Logistics launched a new river transport solution between Le Havre and Bonneuil-sur-Marne, with the aim of shipping over 5,000 TEU to the Ports de Paris entity. This new service also underlines the company’s efforts to promote logistics solutions that are both innovative and virtuous from an environmental standpoint.

Paul Bernard, Regional Director, Normandy of Bolloré Logistics

The Seine corridor offers real potential for development. All the players concerned are committed to creating an efficient and competitive ecosystem. In recent years, we have invested over €150 million to increase the appeal of our logistics infrastructures.
