Bolloré Ports continues its vaccination campaign among its employees

Puteaux. 03 December 2021

For several weeks now, Bolloré Ports has been conducting a large-scale vaccination campaign against Covid-19. Of the 6,497 people employed by Bolloré Ports, 4,529 have now been fully vaccinated and protected against the disease, which represents more than 70% of the workforce.

Carried out in consultation with the health authorities of the various countries concerned, the vaccination is available to the employees of all Bolloré Ports entities on a voluntary basis. It is also being offered to subcontractors. Through this initiative, the company wishes to promote access to vaccination, which is essential to prevent serious forms of the disease.

Bolloré Ports also intends to continue its educational work with employees by regularly reminding them of the health recommendations to be followed. These include taking preventive measures such as wearing masks, social distancing and regular hand washing, particularly in view of the appearance of new variants.

As of 11 June 2021, the International Coalition of Medicines Regulatory Authorities and the World Health Organization jointly recommend widespread vaccination to prevent hospitalisation and help reduce the number of patients and the pressure on health systems caused by Covid-19. This collective immunity will allow society to return to normal and economies to reopen.

Christian Devaux

QHSE Director of Bolloré Ports

The health of our employees is always one of our top priorities and we consider it essential to make it easier for them to get vaccinated and thus protect themselves against Covid-19. We will continue these prevention and vaccination actions in all our entities to achieve optimal vaccination coverage and effectively fight the spread of the virus
