Heads of state, ministers, business executives, corporate shareholders and investors will come together for two days to participate in some 40 panel discussions, workshops and case studies, and come up with solutions designed for supporting economic integration in Africa. Bolloré Transport & Logistics will participate in the panel discussion: “From ports to hinterland: reshaping the African logistics value chain” on 25th March 2019 from 11:50 to 13:00.

Building on its vast experience in Africa where it operates the leading integrated logistics network, Bolloré Transport & Logistics hopes to bring its vision as a global operator active in Africa’s logistics transformation and share its views about how to support the continent’s economic integration. The company believes that regional integration plays a pivotal role in today’s logistics landscape and is a key development focus. Over the past ten years, Bolloré Transport & Logistics has invested €3 billion to enhance Africa’s attractiveness and contribute to improving connections between ports and logistics platforms located in the hinterland.

Thierry Ehrenbogen, Deputy CEO of Bolloré Transport & Logistics

“Supporting the logistics transformation of the African continent, we aim to continue investing in implementing solutions that will meet the industry’s current challenges, mainly through digitalisation and new technologies. We want to move that forward by stepping up our recruitment efforts and continuing to hire new African talents to support Africa’s economic development,”
