Bolloré transport & logistics to showcase its latest logistics innovations at the maritime day & connections

Puteaux. 14 March 2018

Bolloré Transport & Logistics will be present at the International Week of Transport and Logistics (Stand J041 – Hall 6) from March 20 to March 23. On the second day of the exhibition, the group will unveil its latest solutions to drive logistics development along the Seine Valley during the Maritime Day & Connections. This meeting will also be the occasion for transport professionals to discuss the new logistical challenges of improving their energy efficiency.

In the context of this ambitious project supported by HAROPA (a joint venture between the ports of Le Havre, Rouen and Paris), Bolloré Logistics launched on February 2018 a new river shuttle between Le Havre and Bonneuil-sur-Marne. Designed to be a flexible and eco-friendly solution, the motor barge will make every Wednesday a round trip between the two communes, carrying the equivalent of more than 5,000 TEUs towards Parisian ports.

This new service is fully in line with Bolloré Transport & Logistics' Seine Valley development strategy. It also confirms the company's desire to promote innovative and greener solutions that can meet the needs of companies for which eco-responsible transportation is becoming a major factor as important as transit time or scheduling.
