Bolloré Logistics handles out of gauge equipment for largest substation in Rwanda
Bolloré Logistics was contracted to transport and deliver out of gauge cargo from Spain to Shango substation in Rwanda through the port of Mombasa. The cargo consisted of 8 shunt reactors each weighing 29T, and 2 transformers weighing 51T and 75T.

Abidjan Terminal takes delivery of all-electric towing vehicles
As part of the “Green Terminal” environmental certification programme initiated by Bolloré Ports, Abidjan Terminal, the operator of the container terminal at the Port of Abidjan, has taken delivery of two new all-electric towing vehicles. With the delivery, Abidjan Terminal now has handling machines with zero CO2 emissions and sound pollution.

Benin Terminal, the operator of the Port de Cotonou container terminal, took delivery of two new gantries on 20 September 2020. The new equipment will serve to improve the productivity of Benin Terminal, boost the country’s competitiveness and bolster trade in West Africa.

Pierre Ngon: the new Managing Director of the Benin/Niger cluster of Bolloré Transport & Logistics
After a 20-year career at various Bolloré Transport & Logistics subsidiaries in Africa, Pierre Ngon has since 1 September 2020 been the Managing Director of the Benin/Niger cluster of Bolloré Transport & Logistics. Succeeding Jérôme Binois, he will be responsible for the logistics and shipping activities in the two countries, under the supervision of Executive President Venance Gnigla for Benin.

Bolloré Logistics and Antonov Airlines accompany the last Airbus Defence and Space satellite to its launch pad SpaceX
Bolloré Logistics partnered with Antonov Airlines to deliver Airbus Defence and Space’s newest satellite, ANASIS-II to the USA. It was carried from Airbus Defence and Space’s facility in Toulouse (France) by one of the airline’s seven Antonov-124-100 of the Ukrainian airline. The aircraft landed at Florida’s Cape Canaveral Kennedy Space center from where the SpaceX teams took the lead for the next stage.

Bolloré Logistics participates in strenghtening Luxembourg's health systems
The Bolloré Logistics hub in Luxembourg recently received a machine to make surgical masks on behalf of the Luxembourg company ALLPHARMA. Imported from China via a cargo plane provided by the Cargolux airline, this machine, which specialises in making surgical masks, has a production capacity of one million masks per week.
