Dakar Terminal signs a memorandum of understanding with the Malian warehouses in Senegal to reduce stevedoring rates for new tanker lorries destined for Mali
Dakar Terminal, the operator of the El Hadji Malick SY ro-ro terminal, signed a memorandum of understanding with the Malian warehouses in Senegal (Entrepôts Maliens du Sénégal, E.MA.SE) on 14 October 2021. Under this agreement, Dakar Terminal commits to reducing the cost of port transit for all new tanker lorries in transit through Senegal. This exceptional measure will support the process of renewing the commercial vehicle fleet in Mali, and help to boost the competitiveness of the Dakar-Bamako corridor. It will also encourage positive synergies to protect the environment and combat road safety problems.

MPS, first container terminal to obtain the Green Terminal label
Bureau Veritas and Bolloré Ports have awarded Meridian Port Services (MPS) two stars under the Green Terminal environmental labelling process. This comes after Bureau Veritas conducted an audit lasting several months to assess the social and environmental performance of MPS’s facilities, equipment, energy consumption and operating processes.

Bolloré Group supports the people affected by the earthquake in Haiti

Bolloré Logistics’ multi-site certification from Bureau Veritas has been extended
Bolloré Logistics has obtained an extension on its multi-site certification that comprises all the standards relating to workplace safety (ISO 45001:2018), quality management (ISO 9001:2015) and the environment (ISO 14001:2015). More than 420 sites are now covered, including 136 in Africa.

Bolloré Logistics inaugurates its new site in Arnage
On 30 September 2021, Bolloré Logistics inaugurated its new site in Arnage, a few weeks after 95 Bolloré Logistics employees moved into their new agency. Established in the key industrial zone of the Le Mans metropolitan area, these new offices of more than 1,100 m² have an excellent location and visibility, as well as good road access from the south of Le Mans bypass which directly connects to the A.11 and A.28 highways.

The Bolloré Group mobilises its employees for the 6th edition of its Marathon Day solidarity race
The 6th edition of Bolloré Group's solidarity race, Marathon Day, was held this year from 23 to 30 September in a hybrid digital-physical format. Employees from all over the world came together with the same objective: to cover as many kilometres as possible by walking, running, cycling or dancing. In the end, 12,267 participants from 91 countries took up the challenge from all over the world, and together they covered 337,212 kilometres.

Benin Terminal reinforces its equipment and acquires two new stackaces
Benin Terminal, which operates the Port of Cotonou's container terminal, commissioned two empty container handlers built by Konecranes, a specialist in lifting equipment, on 1 September 2021. Following their delivery in mid-August, they were installed and the operators trained.
