Freetown Terminal awarded Green Terminal Label
On 28 November 2022, Freetown Terminal, a subsidiary of Bolloré Ports and operator of the container terminal at the Elizabeth II Quay in Freetown, obtained the Green Terminal label. The label was awarded following an audit of its facilities by Bureau Veritas, and confirms the company's good results in terms of sustainable management of its activities. This is the ninth Bolloré Ports concession to receive this label.

David Azra, new Managing Director of Kribi Conteneurs Terminal
Following a 15-year career in Bolloré Transport & Logistics subsidiaries in Africa, David Azra became Managing Director of Kribi Conteneurs Terminal, operator of the container terminal at the Autonomous Port of Kribi, on 12 December 2022. He succeeds Eric Lavenu who has retired after many years working with the Bolloré Group.

Bolloré Africa Logistics signs the concession agreement for the port of Douala Timber Terminal
Bolloré Africa Logistics and the Autonomous Port of Douala (PAD) signed the concession agreement for the Port of Douala Timber Terminal (TBPD) on Friday 10 December 2022 in Douala. This new body, which is taking over the assets of the Société d'Exploitation des Parcs à Bois du Cameroun (SEPBC), will be in charge of developing the activities of the timber terminal in the port of Douala-Bonabéri for 15 years.

Bolloré Logistics continues its development in the Nomandy region
On 6 December, Bolloré Logistics inaugurated its new building with more than 2,500 m² of surface area in the Rouen Petit-Couronne commune in the Madrillet area. This maritime office now brings together 250 employees who were previously spread across two sites.

Côte d'Ivoire Terminal opens a new container Terminal
The Vice-President of the Republic of Côte d'Ivoire, H.E. Tiémoko Meyliet KONÉ, officially inaugurated the second container terminal of the Port of Abidjan on 2 December 2022, in the presence of members of the government, including Mr Amadou KONÉ, Minister of Transport, Mr Hien Yacouba SIÉ, Managing Director of the Autonomous Port of Abidjan, Mr Philippe LABONNE, CEO of Bolloré Africa Logistics, and Mr Frederik KLINKE, Director for Africa at APM Terminals, along with members of Abidjan’s port community.

The President of the Republic of Timor Leste, H.E. Dr José Ramos Horta officially inaugurated the Tibar Bay Deepwater Port on 30 November 2022, in the presence of Mr Philippe Labonne, CEO of Bolloré Ports, the Prime Minister of Timor-Leste H.E General Taur Matan Ruak, and members of the Dili port community and of the Asia Pacific region.

Bolloré Logistics uses artificial intelligence with Akila to reduce its energy consumption in Songjiang
Bolloré Logistics China has signed a three-year agreement with start-up Akila to reduce its energy consumption. The agreement is based on the provision of a digital solution that uses artificial intelligence to improve the company’s results in terms of environmental, social and governance (ESG) issues. Akila’s solution will be deployed in the Songjiang (Shanghai) warehouse, with an area of 18,000 m2.

Transport of en H125 hélicopter between France and Santiago de Chile
Bolloré Logistics has successfully completed the end-to-end delivery of an H125 helicopter from France to Santiago de Chile between October 6 and 14, 2022. The legendary squirrel is 11 meters. It is a versatile device suitable for business transport, medical evacuation, or urban and road surveillance.

Bolloré Energy launches Calorza, its F30 biofuel
Bolloré Energy is renewing its commitment to the energy transition in the oil sector with the launch of its F30 biofuel, Calorza. Consisting of 30% fatty acid methyl esters (FAME), more specifically vegetable oil, Calorza helps to reduce greenhouse gas emissions.
